| SO PK SLEEPOVER AND HAILSTORM'S BIRTHDAY = FAAABULOUS!!
The sleepover started out like most do - glamour/head shots and Barbie Fashion Designer - then it advanced! Hailstorm got hungry along with the rest of us circa 2:00 A.M. so we decide to go to Waffle House and take Chad with us, right? Right. So, we take Kim's dad's Grand Marquis (#1. To win boys over #2. It's the only car we could easily get from the driveway) so then we go to Lindale to get Chad when Hailstorm mentions the gas tank is pretty low - then as luck would have it, the light comes on in the middle of nowhere - but we get Chad and get gas, so we're good. Then we go to Waffle House - right? Right. WELL - Hailstorm's butter was melted so Jules went flying out of her seat, hahahahaha - then a woman in a white bathrobe with white towels walked by. ANYWAYS - so then we take Chad back to his respectable location and we head back to Saddlebrook Downs and go to bed circa 4:30. Great times...

In all honesty, there's no better brother duo in the NFL. They're both QBs from the south! And sure, they didn't select college with great taste, but I still love the Mannings. Even Cooper.
3) Chris Shaw
This gentleman right here lets you know the trio DOES care about every UGA football player! I mean, I know the biggest players on the team tend to be ones associated with kickoffs after scoring, but that's beside the point. To think he lived in Rome for an entire year and I never saw him. One thing IS for certain. If I see him ANY this season in Athens, there's going to be a photo shoot on the spot.
2) Matt Clark
I know, I know - another famous kicker! What's there not to like about this Auburn walk-on? He's from Snellville, he goes to a huge SEC school, and he's... cute. Hopefully me and Icey will have a chance to enhance our friendship at Auburn Picture Day scheduled for August 5th.

Did you really expect otherwise? These 2 made me love Georgia football again and are the reason I ruined my life before I was 15! I've watched D.G. grow up from when he played in the UGA vs. FL game in 2001 and now he's gotten married. | 10) Mrs. Phillips (4th grade reading teacher): Each week we had these huge homework things to do and I never did mine, but she always let me do them and turn them in late (partly because my mom worked there and she and my step-aunt were pretty good friends) Anyways, she also let me read more than anyone and was really nice to me.
9) Mrs. Wood/Mrs. Wilma (kindergarton): Mrs. Wilma REALLY took me under her wing. Everyday she'd fix my hair in a ponytail or pigtails or something relevant to that and she pulled my first tooth. I was also pretty scared of her and screamed and cried at her, but she was still a nice lady. Wonder whatever came of her. Mrs. Wood also let me read books to her during naptime (i.e. The cat ate the fat rat). Not to mention she became my asst. principal at East Central when I went into the 5th grade!
8) Miss Kay (Mrs. Harmon [2nd grade art teacher]): I don't remember her much. I just remember Katie Vann and I would go into the art room after school a lot though and she'd let us play with all the stuff and gave us a lot of crap. I'm sure there's some more reasons as to why I liked her so much since I was really sad when she left after my first year at Allatoona. Hmph.
7) Mr. Hester (8th grade band director): Ahh, where do I begin with Midge (nickname I gave him halfway through 8th grade [One of Barbie's friends]) Midge and I didn't get along from the get-go, but we had a true friendship. He confided in me like no other - keeping me after class 15 minutes to talk about his personal problems and children was one of our best discussions that really touched me. He also called my house more than some relatives do to discuss my behavioral issues with my mom, not that she ever answered or returned his calls. Yep, Midge was a weird fella and definitely one of the greatest memories of Rome Middle.
6) Miss Phillips (5th grade science teacher): No other teacher has complemented me on my clothing (that I can recall) even when I was a white trash kid and wore the same clothes quite often! Anyways, I always talked to her about random stuff and made a 105 on one of her test (probably my highest ever except the 124 on Mr. Musgrove's 50 pt. bonus test) I also never gave teacher's presents on their birthdays but I did give her one! I also remember doing a lot of fun stuff in there.
5) Ms. Lloyd and Mrs. Morris (2nd grade teachers): Ahh, nice ladies! It was somewhat awkward going to Ms. Lloyd's house, out to eat with her, and to the lake with her. Also, she called the house one time and I thought it was Aunt Marsha. She was a crazy woman and sometimes disliked me, but she still deserves placement on here. Mrs. Morris, well, she was a sweetheart! I remember going to her house for a Christmas party.. not awkward at all being with her 2 sons (Johnathan and Joseph) and Mrs. Covington's son! We had fun though!
4) Ms. Ruffin (7th grade reading teacher): WORDS cannot describe Ms. Cheryl Ruffin! Not only did she call me out in the hallway every other day, call on me to read ALL the darned time, and always get in my personal business, but she also provided many laughs for me in 7th grade such as: the no perfume in her class rule and Jasmine spraying it everywhere, her tan shirt and black pants and black shirt and tan pants, Rocket Man, and "MS.RUFFIN - DIS ONE BOOK?!"... she was an enjoyable gal and I miss her terribly!!
3) Coach Little (7th grade math teacher): I think everyone whose had Coach Little as a teacher or a coach would definitely put him on their countdown. He's not mean to anyone and understood my David Greene obsession from the getgo! He also taught my sister and is friends with my stepdad, so y'know, he's come over a time or two and calls the house sometimes. He's also one of the few teachers I still talk to most everytime I see him. Good man that Coach Little!
2) Mr. Chesnut (8th grade science, Georgia studies, and homeroom teacher): Is it any wonder that this guy is my 2nd favorite teacher of all time?! He called me a grouch in the morning because I was always so tired and mad that I had to be at school so daggum early, but then come Georgia studies I'd always be delirious and laughing and it made him happy! So what if his breath smelt like hot garbage, he let me stay in his class sometimes during exploratory and and help him out with stuff and didn't mind when I said a perverted comment. He claims to have worked with my grandmother even though she doesn't remember it at all. I still go visit Jack every now and then after UGA games since he is a HUGE fan.
1) Mrs. Vali-Vasta (Freshman and Sophomore year Drama teacher): Was there any question that she would get this?! Okay, there slightly was between she and Jack, but she has one quality he doesn't: she can write me an AOPi sorority reference! For the two years I had her, I always ran her little errands and did some work for her and she always sent me good news cards (something rare for white trash idiots like myself!) Mrs. V.V. also cussed to me a few times on occasion and we talked about personal issues once or twice which was definitely entertaining! She's the only teacher I can recollect taking a picture with, signing my yearbook (since elementary school), and getting a going-away present for. I'll definitely miss ole' V.V. and that's a fact!
Of course some teachers definitely deserved to make this, so some honorable mentions go to:

| KENNY CHESNEY CONCERT WAS AWESOME!!!! The opening acts started at 4:30 with Dierks Bentley, Big n Rich, and Gretchen Wilson - then Kenny Chesney came out and sang some songs, then Gretchen Wilson came back out and they did a duet of 'Hurt So Good' by John Cougar Mellencamp.. then he starts singing When The Sun Goes Down and when Uncle Kracker comes in he says: "Ladies and gentlemen from Detriot Michigan: UNCLE KRACKER!" so he was there too and sang 'Follow Me'... THEN Kenny sang some more songs and towards the end he says he is bringing his best friend out and it's Keith Urban so they sing 'Someone Like You' which might explain why he said "Keith Urban in a skirt" instead of "Garth Brooks in a skirt" during 'Big Star' and then he sang a few other songs and it was over! But it was SOOOOOOOO much fun and I can only think of one better way to have spent July 8th, 2006! ;o)
David Greene got hitched - finally!
We're going to Countdown to Kickoff at the UGA practice fields this weekend!!!! The whole football team will be there AND D.G. will be there so I can get a new picture with him since all of my other ones have braces and the other one is from April, 2004 from before I got braces and still had blonde hair, so I mean, it's time for a new one! YAY!!!!!
WE WENT INTO THE VANDERBILT STADIUM!! The gate was open and so were the things to get to the seats and then we realized we could get ON the field so we did and it was AWESOME!!!
I can't believe Summer is almost over and it's almost time for school to start... that's crazy... but at least I'm going to be a junior making me so much closer to COLLEGE - can't wait!!!!
My mom's been cleaning out the big room on the other side of the house and we put UGA stuff everywhere and when my parents go to Jax-Vegas in a week or 2 we're going to have a huge dance party and all that good stuff!! HOOTIE HOO!!!! | | comments: Leave a comment |

- He SHOULD probably have a good job after college
- He CAN'T use any terms of endearment, i.e. 'baby', 'sweetie', or 'hunny'
- He CAN'T use the word hot unless it's in reference to a temperature

- He CAN'T drink unsupervised until college.. and even then he can't drink a lot.

- He CAN'T have piercings - ew.
- He CAN'T wear a buttload of cologne - ew.
- He NEEDS be healthy
- He NEEDS to have a good smile
- He SHOULD wear athletic clothes
- He HAS to go to college (after he finishes H.S. in the 4 year span)

- He SHOULD have sometime cute about him - glasses or something like that

| | Yesterday was probably one of the funnest days I have had all Summer! We got out of Drivers Ed. early, but then we went to the club and we were SO delerious! First, we were playing Categories off the diving board and Gillis screams "FRACTION EQUIVALENT TO 2/3!" to some LITTLE boy.. hahaha, then we went to the middle and you know that game where you swim under someone's legs? Well these 2 little girls she didn't know were and she swam under one of their legs, hahaha, and then she popped up like 2 feet away from one and was smiling and waving! It was hilarious, BUT THEN she went up to some little girl from the back and was taking her goggles off saying can I borrow these? HAHAHAHAHA!!! | | comments: Leave a comment |
